What services do you offer?
We provide a comprehensive suite of services designed to meet all your content creation needs:
- Podcast Studio Rental: Includes access to our entire studio space, complete with professional lighting, audio/video equipment, and proprietary software for live-editing your podcast, making production seamless and efficient.
- Editing and Post-Production: We also offer editing and post-production services for podcasts and videos recorded in our studio.
Are there membership options available?
Yes, we offer three membership options. For details on these options, visit our Services/Packages page or contact us directly.
How many people can fit in each studio?
Our studio accommodates a maximum of four people per session.
Can I bring my own equipment?
No, personal recording equipment is not permitted. We provide all the necessary equipment and technology for a professional-quality recording.
What are your hours of operation?
Our studio is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Is there parking available?
Yes, ample parking is available in any open space in the parking lot.
What is your cancellation policy?
To cancel or reschedule a session, please notify us at least 7 days before your scheduled time to receive a full refund (excluding fees) or retain your membership/package hours. Cancellations made between 7 days and 24 hours prior qualify for a 50% refund (excluding fees) or half of your membership/package hours back. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session are considered a no-show and cannot be refunded.
How do I access my recorded content?
After your session, audio/video files are uploaded to a shared Google Drive folder, accessible for 21 days. If files are not downloaded within this time, they may be recoverable for up to six weeks for a $250 retrieval fee, though recovery is not guaranteed. Files are not retrievable after six weeks.
Do you offer editing services?
Yes, we offer comprehensive editing and post-production services for both podcasts and talking head videos recorded in our studio.
Are food and drinks allowed in the studio?
Drinks are allowed in the studio rooms, and we also stock water in our lobby fridge. However, food should be kept to the lounge area out of respect for shared studio spaces.
How should I prepare for my recording session?
Please arrive no more than 20 minutes before your scheduled time. Have any materials or talking points ready, and familiarize yourself with your session’s layout and any provided equipment.
Can I reschedule my session?
Yes, you may reschedule a session up to two times. Contact us as early as possible to reschedule and retain your session time.
What happens if I’m late to a session?
If you expect to be late, please let us know as soon as possible by emailing [insert contact email]. We will try to accommodate you, but we may need to reschedule if the studio’s schedule is full.
Can I go over my scheduled time?
Your session ends at the scheduled time reflected in your booking confirmation email. We ask that you vacate the studio within 10 minutes of your session ending. Overages of 15+ minutes incur a prorated fee: $260 per hour for video sessions, $112 per hour for audio-only sessions. To avoid overages, consider booking an additional hour.
Can a remote guest or co-host call into the studio?
Currently, remote participation is not supported at Sun City SITREP Studio.
What gear and software do you use?
Our studio is equipped with high-quality professional gear: Apple computers, GVM and Aperture lights, Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Cameras 6K, Shure SM7B Vocal Microphones, RØDE RØDECaster Pro II, Blackmagic ATEM Mini Extreme ISO, and Audio-Technica ATH-M50X headphones. Software includes Premiere Pro, Da Vinci Resolve Studio, Photoshop, Illustrator, Capcut, Canva, and more.
How does the studio record my audio?
We record in multitrack format using professional digital audio software and mixers. Each microphone is assigned its own audio track, resulting in individual, studio-quality, 24-bit WAV files for each participant.
What is your policy for no-shows?
If you do not attend your scheduled session and fail to cancel at least 24 hours in advance, this will be treated as a no-show. No-shows are charged the full booking price or equivalent membership/package hours, with no refund or credit. To avoid no-show charges, please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours prior by contacting us at [insert contact email and phone number].
Can I view the studio before booking?
Yes, we offer a 15-30 minute tour of the studio. To book a tour, please contact us directly.
Do you have a waiting area?
Yes, our studio has a comfortable waiting area available for guests.
Can I change the way the studio looks or is laid out?
Yes, our studios can be adjusted to suit your brand or preferred style. You can choose from different seating options, including lounge chairs, couches, or a table setup. Additionally, each studio room features customizable RGB lighting for different vibes and moods.
Can additional emails be added to share the folder?
Yes, clients can add any and all emails they choose, as they have direct access and sharing privileges to the Google Drive folder.
How early can I arrive for my session?
Please arrive no more than 20 minutes before your scheduled session time to allow adequate setup without interrupting other bookings.
